    Enjoying healthy Greek cuisine is as much a part of your Allazo Well-Being Break as relaxing your body, revitalising your soul and refocusing your mind.
     
    Allazo is very pleased to be joined by Alexandra Silvestros, a fantastic chef, food and wine connoisseur to co-host your Well-Being Break and provide you with a culinary experience that will remain with you long after you leave Rhodes. Alex has been a restauranteur for more than 20 years, having run a very successful traditional Greek taverna in Rhodes, previously owned a restaurant in France and catered for the rich and famous in the UK.
     
    Our philosophy is to prepare healthy, delicious and mouth-watering dishes using locally produced seasonal products. Learning more about Greek food, its properties and how to cook the wonderful recipes is very much part of your Well-Being experience. We are not a health farm so the inclusion of some good Greek wine and the odd ouzo are not forbidden, in fact in moderation they are positively encouraged!
     
    Combine this with a more relaxed attitude to eating in general and you're on the way to changing the way you view your diet as well as your life …
     
     
     
    Greek cuisine

    Breakfast

     
    Breakfast consists of home-made muesli or cereals, fresh seasonal fruit or fruit salad, Greek yoghurt, fresh baked bread, toast, crispbread, organic local preserves, fruit and vegetable juices, a selection of teas and freshly brewed coffee and plenty of chilled water (very important for health and well-being!).

     

    Lunch

     

     

     

    Enjoy a traditional Meze style lunch and savour the wonderful recipes prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Meze dishes will include a variation of fresh seasonal salads, dips (tzatziki, aubergine, houmous, taramasalata), feta or halloumi (baked or grilled), keftedakia, kalamari, octopus, whitebait, vegetables, fresh bread, olives and washed down with cold beers, light wine and iced water.

     

     

     

    Happy Hour Workshops

     

     

     

    A complimentary ouzo, wine or juice plus a selection of ‘nibbles’ is included in the early evening Happy Hour Workshop .

     

     

     

    Poolside Barbecue

     

     

     

     A poolside barbecue is arranged every Friday evening as a fitting end to your week. This includes souvlakia of meat, fish or vegetables, a selection of fresh seasonal salads, vegetable and potato dishes, cheeses and dips and fresh home-baked bread with olive oil and oregano or garlic. With wine and beer included you will find that the Greek dancing comes naturally!

     

     

     

    Local Tavernas

     

     

     

    There are plenty of tavernas and restaurants in the nearby villages of Lindos, Pefkos, Lardos and Gennadi where you can enjoy some more culinary Mediterranean delights for your evening meals.

     

     

     

    Private Dinner Parties

     

     

     

    Private dinner parties, barbecues and wine tasting can be arranged at the villa (payable locally).

     

     

     

     

    Dietary Requirements
     
    All our recipes can be easily adapted to suit personal preferences or health requirements and an education of food and the understanding of the importance of a healthy diet are high on our agenda.
